Indian cricketer, Sanju Samson responded to one of his fans’ questions relating to Yuzvendra Chahal’s fake promotion as Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain with a humorous response. Chahal has been among the best entertainers in Indian backstage, and he recently took over RR’s official Social media profile, where he unveiled a phony designation about himself as skipper and disclosed intentions to begin the batting partnering Jos Buttler.

On a softer side, Samson greeted Chahal on his promotion, and the leg-spinner immediately responded with a humorous post from RR’s Twitter handle, which stated “jealous”. Besides that, Chahal had divided the Twitterati with a tweetstorm that contained comments for Ravi Ashwin and Buttler.

Hope Chahal keeps all the coins for me after the toss: Samson

In the Q&A session on Instagram, Samson answered a follower, saying that he is really delighted for Chahal’s selection as captain and wishes that he reverts back the coins following tosses in the IPL. “Very happy for him. Hope he keeps all the coins for me after the toss,” Samson.

Samson was summoned back into the Indian side for the recently finished Sri Lanka T20Is, and he performed admirably in both innings, hitting 39 and 18 in a short session. The selectors have also stated that Samson is obviously in their plans for the forthcoming2022 T20 World Cup in Australia, and a successful IPL 2022 season would undoubtedly boost the wicketkeeper-chances batters of reaching the final team.

However, Chahal was selected by the RR in the IPL 2022 blockbuster auction for Rs 6.5 crore following a bidding war, and he joins Ravi Ashwin, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, and Devdutt Padikkal as potential RR signings for the tournament. The RR will begin their IPL 2022 season on March 29 versus the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MCA Cricket Stadium.

In his 2nd episode with the Rajasthan Royals (RR), the former Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara will be looking for nothing less a championship when the IPL 2022 season begins on March 26. Sangakkara was pleased with the group he was able to assemble during the auction, and he praised their skipper, Sanju Samson, who is focused on growing with each game of the season.

Sangakkara voiced on the RR captain, Sanju Samson: “There is no doubt in my mind that with someone like him in your side, he will be your first retention. He is a magnificent player, destructive… he’s a match-winner.”

“In terms of captaincy, I’ve come to admire him greatly. He’s got such a passion for Rajasthan Royals, he started here, he values the franchise and the support and the connection. He’s a captain who is willing to admit that he perhaps doesn’t know everything as yet and is going to grow into it. He has natural leadership abilities and he is going to get better and better”, he added.
