Shaheen Afridi young and future of Pakistan Cricket

A fast bowler for the Pakistan national cricket team, Shaheen Shah Afridi is a professional cricketer from Pakistan who was born on April 6, 2000. In April 2018 he made his international debut for Pakistan, and in December 2018 he played in his first Test match for his country.

The rapid rise in ranks

Shaheen’s ascent through the ranks in a snappy period of time has been incredibly smooth during the shift. The Pakistan Super League has also been beneficial since it provides a platform for young people like him to interact with some of the best in the industry.

Still a young Lion

Shaheen, who is still a teenager, has grown more resilient as a result of the exposure. Although he is still very immature and his domestic career has only lately begun to take off, there is evidence to suggest that, depending on how Pakistan handles him, he could be a threat in the years to come.

His True Ability to swing the ball both ways

Shaheen Afridi’s potential is truly limitless, that much is undeniable. Afridi, like his famous namesake, is gifted with a tall, gangly physique and the capacity to bowl very quickly. He can also hit the ball quite hard with the bat in his hand. Add to all of this his versatility as a left-arm bowler, and it becomes clear why Pakistanis are so enthralled with this individual.

Shaheen also had a strong World Cup run in 2019, despite not playing in every match. He produced good pace and delivered fine variations after the innings, taking 16 wickets overall.

Baby Face Pacer from Pakistan

Shaheen Afridi’s story is distinctly Pakistani, with a baby face perched on a two-meter physique. He has been on the selectors’ radar for almost three years and is already at ease wearing the green shirt of the national team. With an international cricketer for an older brother, he was bound for enormous success well before his teenage years in a smaller group.

Current Status

Shaheen Afridi is currently playing in the T20 World Cup and his side has reached the semi-finals even after losing the first two matches, Pakistan will face New Zealand in the first semi-final. If Pakistan manages to win the semi-final then they will face the winner of the second semi-final England vs India at MCG cricket ground on 13th November (Sunday).
