Let’s have a look at what would be the perfect line-ups for both the teams for today’s game.
LSG is a balanced side on and off the paper as well. The only worry for them is the form of Manish Pandey, who only managed to score 88 runs in six matches at an average and strike rate of 14.6 and 110.0 respectively.
As always Quinton de Kock and Kl Rahul will open the innings for the LSG. To cut the one-down crux the management might call Stoinis, who did well at up the order for his previous franchise, to bat at no.3.
With Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ayush Badoni, they have settled the middle order as well. Krishnappa Gotham might get a chance to play in place of Pandey and if he gets so he will be seen playing at the no.7 position followed by big hitter Jason Holder.
Avesh Khan, who missed the last match due to niggle is expected to be back in the team if he’s fit. Ravi Bishnoi is the best spin option, while Sri Lankan speedster Dushanta Chameera is good at the power play overs.

Punjab Kings’ opening combination of Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan is good. They should go with Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Liam Livingstone, and Jonny Bairstow for the no.3,4,5th batting positions, followed by another good combination in the form of Jitesh Sharma at sixth, and all-rounder Rishi Dhawan at seventh.
Talking about Punjab bowlers, the trio Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada as fast bowlers, and Rahul Chahar as spinner are doing good work for their team. While the other fast bowler, they should try with Sandeep Sharma again.
