Future of Indian Cricket
KL Rahul is one of the most highly regarded opening batters in India’s next generation. He is a tall, graceful right-hand hitter who can keep a wicket in a pinch. Rahul was a part of India’s squad in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup and made his first-class debut later that year. Having taken a while to establish himself as a first-class cricketer, he enjoyed a breakthrough 2013–14 season, laying the foundation for Karnataka’s Ranji Trophy victory with 1033 runs, this featured a final Man-of-the-Match performance, three centuries, three 90s, and three ninety.
Current Vice Captain
Currently serving as the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team across all forms is Kannaur Lokesh Rahul, an international cricketer from India. He is a right-handed wicketkeeper and hitter. In domestic cricket, he represents Karnataka, and in the Indian Premier League, he leads the Lucknow Super Giants.
Current form
KL Rahul’s poor batting performance is what worries fans and pundits the most. KL Rahul is receiving a lot of attention right now, with the major focus being on how his strike rate is incredibly low, which is detrimental to India’s new T20I plan. KL Rahul is a player with grace, style, and most importantly a broad range of shots for T20 cricket. He is a player who can find his greatest form at any given time, and it will only be a matter of time before he does.
The future
Rahul Dravid serves as KL’s perfect mentor. Rahul shares more than just his first name with the legendary Indian batsman; they both exhibit tenacious resistance, compact, airtight technique, and unwavering attention at the crease.
A thrilling potential for India’s lengthy and difficult overseas season, Rahul can work on his nerves and has an all-conditions technique to go with it. He would like to solidify his position as a long-term option for India as a great Test opener.
