Cricket World’s Superman: Pakistan Cricket Team Celebrates Mohammad Rizwan’s Birthday
On Wednesday, Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan turned 30. Rizwan was voted the men’s T20I Player of the Year earlier this year, and he has recently had a lot of success with the bat in the shortest version of the game. Pakistan is preparing for a three-match One-Day International series against the West Indies, which will start on June 8 in Multan. Rizwan’s birthday was celebrated by the entire Pakistan team before of the series.
The Pakistan Cricket Board’s official Instagram account shared a video commemorating Rizwan’s birthday, in which the complete squad can be seen.
A cake with Rizwan’s jersey number (16) and a message saying “HBD to Superman of the Cricket World” has been placed on the table.
Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi are among the celebrities who are expected to attend the event.
Rizwan has appeared in 22 Tests, 44 One-Day Internationals, and 56 Twenty-20 Internationals for Pakistan, scoring 3,671 runs across all forms. In the shortest version of the game, Rizwan has forged a powerful opening pair with skipper Babar Azam over the previous two years.
In the shortest format, Rizwan is now rated third, while Babar is in the first place.
