BCCI add 36 players to the shortlist out of which only 87 players will be selected for the IPL
BCCI Shortlist: The final list of players scheduled to be auctioned off during the IPL mini-auction in Kochi on December 23 has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Prior to the 15th season of the prestigious competition, there will be 405 players at the mini-auction.
From the initial 991 participants, the ten competing teams initially selected 369. There will now be 405 players available in the TATA IPL 2023 Mini-auction after the teams made 36 more player requests, which have been added to the list. Of those, 273 are Indians, 132 are foreigners, and four are citizens of partner nations.

There are four cricketers from the associate nations among the 282 uncapped players and 119 players with caps. Currently, there are 87 places total, 30 of which are set aside for international cricket players.
The most open positions belong to Sunrisers Hyderabad, where there are 13 places left. The highest reserve price is INR 2 crore, and 19 international cricketers have chosen to fall into this category. The basic price for 11 players on the auction list is INR 1.5 crore.
